FR - Burgundy (Bourgogne)
A fine wine region in the East-Central area of France. There are two major grape varieties found here: Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. Traditional cuisine includes Coq au Vin, Beef Bourguignon, Escargots de Bourgogne, La Matelote d'Anguille à la Bourguignonne (eels stewed in wine sauce), and Gougères (cheese puffs).
